AACP Canadian Annual Meeting - Dr. Olmos Lecture: A System for Treating Craniofacial Pain and OSA...Connecting the Dots

Topic:
AACP Canadian Chapter – Annual Meeting
Date:
Oct 15 2010 (All day) - Oct 16 2010 (All day)
Event Description:
Dr. Olmos will review his comprehensive, reproducible “system” that allows doctors to triage disorders, and diagnose and develop staged treatment plans for injuries (acute & chronic) of the TM joint, facial pain (typical & atypical), headaches and abnormal sleep. The system provides for conservative treatment with reproducible success by emphasizing orgin rather than dwelling on symptoms. It is a system compliant with organized dental/medical philosophies and “standard of care,” which will lift the confusion usually associated with the order of treatment factors for age and general health.

Upon conclusion, attendees should be able to:
Apply a data collection system that will enable them to produce a staged treatment plan for multiple injuries or dysfunction with and without sleep disordered breathing (OSA); deliver reproducible successful treatment for these disorders; alter treatment based on age and general health; understand what tests to order and when; appreciate how “standard of care” affects treatment plan decisions.
