Advanced TMD Residency (ATMDR) 6 Sessions
Diagnosis and treatment of patients with Craniofacial pain/TMD. Meets once a month for 6 months (prerequisites required)
The Advanced TMD Residency in Craniofacial Pain offers an incomparable opportunity to continue your education on this very complicated area of dentistry and, as a result, increase your productivity and predictability with TMD patients. Participants make a commitment to attend six two-day sessions over the course of six months.
Steeped in hands-on learning, the course begins by working up patients using the thorough diagnostic methodology and tests devised by Dr. Olmos. In the ensuing weeks, participants produce a diagnosis, prescribe treatments, develop appropriate patient records and fabricate appliances. Patients are followed throughout the six month period and, over time, Phase II therapies are conducted. By the completion of the program, all participants will have the confidence to incorporate more TMD patients into their practice.
