As Dr. Olmos traveled around North America, Canada and Australia it became clear that there needed to be standardization of protocols for the production of orthotics using his technique. These protocols have constantly been evolving as he discovers better and more efficient methods of treating patients.

The protocols are always evolving based on the directives of our governing bodies, research of new materials, and development of articulator use for adjustments to the phonetic bite. He has searched for laboratories in each country that have the ability and commitment to produce orthotics with the quality and accuracy necessary for this very demanding treatment. These laboratories needed to be large enough to service Doctors regionally and have a staff large enough to devote special energy to a project of this kind.

He personally ensures that each laboratory undergoes a 4 level International certification program. At each level they will receive direct training in “Olmos” orthotic therapy concepts and philosophies, materials and equipment, as well as hands on fabrication techniques and quality control standards. Training in the “Olmos Protocol” will be provided to their technicians and ongoing controls will be in place to ensure quality.

The laboratories joining in this endeavor share Dr. Olmos’ commitment to excellence and will be the only labs legally authorized to produce orthotics using my protocol. To protect the integrity of these copyrighted designs we will be diligent in following up on improperly produced orthotics. Each of these labs has assured Dr. Olmos that their products will meet the consistent high quality expected for patients.
