If you’re a dentist or you’ve been looking for a comprehensive, step-by-step pathway to confidently diagnose and treat craniofacial pain and sleep-related breathing disorders, the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre’s Mini Residency returns to Philadelphia, PA in Spring 2026—offering in-person and live-stream options. All three sessions run 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET and are held at the Historical Society of Philadelphia, with iconic landmarks like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell nearby.
What You’ll Learn
Session 1 — Diagnosis & Foundational Skills (April 17–18)
Build clinical confidence with screening for SBD and craniofacial pain, determining CR, CBCT interpretation, JVA electrodiagnostics, and head/neck anatomy & neuroanatomy. Includes a live patient exam demo.
Session 2 — Appliance Design & Delivery of Care (May 15–16)
Deepen practical skills: sleep-appliance triage, headache differentials, disc recapture, orthotic design, and pharmacology for sleep and pain. In-person attendees get hands-on time with appliance adjustments, phonetic bite, and palpation practice.
Session 3 — Nutrition, Phase II, and Airway-Focused Therapies (June 12–13)
Connect the dots between sleep disorders and TMJ pain; explore neuropathic disorders, physical medicine modalities, nutrition planning, myofunctional therapies, and Phase II considerations—including airway orthodontics for complex cases.
The Olmos System: Manuals, SOPs, and Forms
Participants receive a robust playbook—including comprehensive manuals (Foundational Concepts; Clinical Applications; Nutrition & Phase II), front/back-office SOPs, and patient forms—designed to help you implement a reproducible, research-backed system the Monday after you return.
