Dr. K. Cheyn Gunnerson was raised in a close-knit community nestled at the foot of Salt Lake City’s Big Cottonwood Canyon. He saw dentistry as a form of art, a means to craft not only stunning smiles but also to promote health and self-assurance in people. After earning a bachelor’s degree in medical biology from the University of Utah, he continued his education at the Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, where he excelled and graduated in the top five percent of his class.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gunnerson has dedicated the bulk of his time to practicing family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry. He has invested heavily in his post-graduate education, accumulating thousands of hours of training to ensure that he delivers top-tier care to his patients in Payson. He has embraced leading-edge technologies in the dental industry, such as cold laser therapy, 3D cone-beam CT imaging, in-house lab technologies, and CEREC systems.
When not caring for patients or furthering his knowledge, Dr. Gunnerson enjoys spending time outdoors. A large part of his free time is dedicated to maintaining his sprawling home garden, tending to his orchard, and beekeeping.
