Dr. Steven Olmos

Founder, craniofacial pain and dental sleep medicine

Dr. Steven Olmos dedicated over 40 years to private practice, devoting more than 30 of those years to researching and treating craniofacial pain and sleep-related breathing disorders. In 2023, he retired from clinical practice to concentrate on advancing these fields through education and research. He earned his DDS from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and is Board Certified in both chronic pain and sleep breathing disorders by the American Board of Craniofacial Pain, the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Olmos founded TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centres International, which now includes more than 70 licensed locations exclusively dedicated to diagnosing and treating craniofacial pain and sleep disorders. He continues to lead the field by teaching his innovative system around the globe and regularly publishing research on the connection between pain, airway, and sleep disorders.
