Frequently asked questions
Still have questions about the course? Our education team will answer them in a short call.
What is changing about the Mini Residency?
The Mini Residency has moved from separate multi-day in-person sessions to a hybrid format: ten live online sessions on Fridays at 8:00 AM PT and two hands-on bootcamps in Cleveland, Ohio. The 2027 course runs from February 5 to June 4.
What will dentists learn in your TMD and TMJ Mini Residency?
The Mini Residency provides dentists with a complete, evidence based system for evaluating and treating TMD, TMJ disorders, and airway related conditions. Training includes joint imaging interpretation, craniofacial assessment, appliance therapy protocols, clinical workflow development, and implementation strategies that allow providers to confidently integrate TMJ and airway services into their practices.
Do you offer dental CE credits through your courses?
Yes. Our dental continuing education programs provide dental CE credits for dentists, specialists, and dental teams. These courses focus on practical clinical application in TMJ therapy, airway dysfunction, and dental sleep medicine rather than theory alone.
How does your Mini Residency differ from other dental CE programs?
Unlike lecture-only or online CE courses, our Mini Residency teaches a proven step-by-step diagnostic and treatment system. Dentists receive hands-on training, clinical mentorship, standardized protocols, and real case analysis that can be implemented immediately to help complex TMJ and airway patients.
Who can attend your TMJ, TMD, and dental sleep medicine courses?
Our programs are open to general dentists, specialists, dental teams, and students seeking advanced training in TMJ disorders, craniofacial pain, airway dysfunction, and dental sleep medicine. Team participation is encouraged, as our protocols are staff driven and designed for efficient clinical implementation.
Do you offer education focused on dental sleep medicine and airway therapy?
Yes. Our courses include comprehensive education in dental sleep medicine and airway focused therapy, covering evaluation of sleep disordered breathing, appliance therapy protocols, and workflow systems that allow dentists to confidently treat sleep and airway patients.
Can I start training before the 2027 course begins?
Yes. The Adjunct Mini Residency runs in person, and the free Micro Residency is available online, on demand, right now.
How can dentists register for the Mini Residency?
Register on this page. Tuition is $7,195 USD, or $6,445 USD when you pay in full. You can also spread it over 3 or 6 monthly payments.
Are the online sessions live?
Yes. The ten online sessions are taught live on Fridays, starting at 8:00 AM PT. If you register after the course has started, recordings of the sessions you missed let you catch up before the first bootcamp, and you can send questions to the education team.
Where are the hands-on bootcamps?
Both bootcamps take place in Cleveland, Ohio: Bootcamp 1 on April 2–3, 2027 and Bootcamp 2 on June 4, 2027.
Is Motor Nerve Reflex Testing (MNRT) included?
MNRT is introduced at Bootcamp 1. The full Motor Nerve Reflex Testing course is separate, on June 5–6, 2027, straight after Bootcamp 2, so you can attend both in one trip.
Can I join after the course has started?
Yes, up to the first bootcamp on April 2. Tuition is the same whenever you join, and recordings of the earlier sessions let you catch up.
