Sleep. Breathe. Heal. Live. International dental and medical education to heal patients more efficiently.
W. Bruce Fink, DDS
Dr. Bruce Fink leads the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre of Atlanta, based at his practice, Dentistry for Woodstock, in Woodstock, Georgia. As a member of the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre International network, the Centre follows the protocols developed by founder Dr. Steven Olmos for the evaluation and treatment of craniofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and sleep-disordered breathing.
Dr. Fink believes in starting with the least invasive option. His office offers CT imaging, sleep studies, custom orthotic appliances for jaw joint and facial pain, and oral appliances for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, and he works with physicians and specialists whenever a patient’s condition calls for it.
Dr. Fink is also an experienced implant dentist. He has placed dental implants since 2001, performing both the surgical placement and the restorations himself, so a single doctor manages each case from start to finish. His training includes “The Maxi Course” at the Medical College of Georgia, the MALO Clinic in Lisbon, Portugal, zygomatic implant study in Barcelona, Spain, the Institute of Facial Esthetics, and Tatum Surgical in France with Dr. Hilt Tatum. He has completed more than 1,500 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry, with a focus on full-mouth reconstruction, and has lectured for Tatum Surgical USA, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Neocis Robotics.
The Centre is part of Dentistry for Woodstock at 1816 Eagle Drive, Suite 200A, Woodstock, GA 30189, north of Atlanta in Cherokee County. The map here gives driving directions to the Eagle Drive office.
The first step is an evaluation of your jaw joints, your symptoms and your sleep. The office can take CT images and arrange sleep studies, so that care is based on what is actually causing your pain rather than on symptoms alone. Dr. Fink then starts with the least invasive option that suits your diagnosis.
Yes. Once a diagnosis is in place, Dr. Fink can fit a custom oral appliance to manage snoring or obstructive sleep apnea, and works with your physician on your care. Not sure whether your sleep is affected? Try our adult sleep apnea questionnaire.
When your symptoms point to something outside the jaw and airway, Dr. Fink works with physicians and other specialists so each part of your condition is handled by the right clinician.
